We are very pleased that students are making an important contribution to systematic quality assurance and improvement in teaching and studies through their voluntary participation in the surveys. Standardized evaluation procedures have become an essential part of (re-)accreditation procedures. For example, we carry out teaching evaluations and degree program surveys in electronic form via smartphone, tablet or notebook on site during courses.

In order to achieve the best possible implementation of the results of surveys, valid data is an essential prerequisite and ultimately depends on a high level of participation and sincere evaluation by the respondents.

A high level of participation in the surveys requires a high level of acceptance. This should be achieved under the following conditions in particular:

  • Use of an electronic questionnaire with tested and event-typical survey instruments in the context of teaching evaluations
  • Maintaining anonymity due to the legal provisions on data protection
  • Transparency of the results in compliance with data protection regulations

The “Evaluation” working group, consisting of the Vice President (responsible for studies and teaching), the deans of studies of the faculties, two members of the student council and the coordinator for evaluation procedures, regularly deals with the optimization of the individual evaluation procedures and, in doing so, takes into account the following aspects in particular
